Electronics and Communication engineering, often abbreviated as ECE, is one of the most sought-after engineering courses in India after Computer science, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. It involves designing, developing and manufacturing electronic equipment (for devices and circuits) as well as communication systems. The course enables you with a clear understanding of analog transmission, basic electronics, microprocessors, solid-state devices, digital analog communication, satellite communication, Integrated circuits, antennae and wave progression and microwave engineering.

After B. Tech in ECE, you can expect a minimum salary of Rs. 20,00,000 p.a. , and a maximum of Rs.20,00,000 p.a., depending upon your college, academics, and your skills. The expected jobs are Production manager, Electronics hardware development engineer, Programmer analyst, Electrical and Electronics Engineer etc.
