As far as USIT( now USICT ) is concerned, you will get placed for sure, but the sort of company you end up in is totally upto you.

You don’t get a million opportunities here like in NSIT or DTU. There are a number of good companies that come here though. For eg: Adobe, Nagarro, To the new digital, etc.

But you’ll really have to work to get them. I’m a USIT B.tech CSE and I got placed in Adobe from the campus. A friend of mine from IT also joined Adobe with me. Last year four people from IT got placed in Snapdeal. So IT = CSE here. It just depends on the companies that come that year( Snapdeal didn’t come this year ) and the amount of preparation.
