You can leave the exam if you feel like because according to the new rule a student has the option to apply in January and then again in April and the best from the 2 examinations will be considered; it is not compulsory to appear both the examinations. But it would be better if you do so considering you might score more this time which will help you get a better college.

If you not appear in April month exam then your January month exam's mark will be consider.but I will suggest you to appear and perform more better you may get a very good NIT if you perform little better.
