No,  you need not to sit for entrance exam for pursue diploma in hotel management. You have to have your 10+2 cleared.

You can apply any hotel management college with your HS marksheet.

Lot of  good entrance exam application forms you have missed to apply for hotel management. some of the entrance exams you can target next year are  NCHM JEE, IIHM eCHAT, AIMA UGAT these are national level entrance exam. You can also apply state level entrance exam as well like UPSEE BHMCT, UK BHMCT, MAH CET HM, WBJEE HM. These are some of the entrance exams you can focus on. And, unfortunately, there entrance registration forms are closed.

If you really want to do pursue hotel management then try its entrance exam next year.
