Yes if you want to pursue BHMS then you have to mandatorily appear in NEET and only NEET score is to be used for counselling for seat allotment in BHMS course but there are some criterion which needs to be fulfilled in order to appear for NEET :

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2022 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.

If you want to take admission into BHMS courses provided in various colleges in the country then its compulsory for you to appear in the neet examination and clear the cutoff required for admission procedure. You need to score around 300 marks out of 720 in order to get eligible for the application rounds.
