Dear Aspirant,

As you belong to BC-B group of caste then your category is OBC(Other Backward Classes).

So, you should apply for OBC category for your jee main

Hello Aspirant,

These are the four basic main category options in jee :

General

Other Backward Classes (or OBC) for only Non Creamy Layer candidates (their family annual income should not be greater than Rs.8 lakh)

Scheduled Castes (or SC)

Scheduled Tribes (or ST)

You have the option to choose OBC.

Dear Padma

As you belong from Backward class B Category which is the sub part of Background class only. So overall you have to fill up with the option OBC in the JEE mains paper but make sure one thing you should have all the documentation proof of your category because it will be a necessary document during the time of counselling.
