see u won't be able to claim ur seat in the NITs even with ur very good rank in the JEE MAINS as u have not cleared the eligibility criteria of the JEE mains i.e. boards aggregate must be above 75%. U can go to the other private colleges and take ur admission there with the help of ur jee mains marks and rank like KIIT , MANIPAL , SRM , many other. Some private college also provide the fees concession on ur marks. I m providing u a link for ur help.

Hello student,
You have a very decent rank in JEE mains. Securing 2000 rank is not a joke. With this rank you could have easily secured a seat in any branch in almost all of the NITs in India.
But as you know, the minimum percentage required in NITs and IITs in class 12 are 75%. They don't even compromise for 1% in these. As you don't touch this mark, you won't get a seat in NITs.
Try for other colleges, where it is not mandatory to score 75% in class 12.
