     So, based on your rank in the qualifying examination you have the chances of getting admission into some branches which doesn't come under core department. You can get admission in Civil engineering as the closing rank last year eas around 68500 and also in mechanical engineering for which the closing rank was around 1,10,000 and also in Instrumentation technology. Do attend the counselling sessions without fail and then choose the best branch among these and you will have chances of getting admission in core branches as well if you come under reserved category.
