Dear Student,
Glad to know about your interest in Civil services and MBA from IIM's by appearing for CAT, both being one of the most difficult exams conducted. Both are good fields and you can go for any based on your preferences and potential. Though Civil Services is a great and respectable job but it's really very hard to clear it out, even if you clear the entrance chances are less that you clear the interview part. You can also go for CAT but you need to score really very well in it also for securing a seat in any of the IIM's, though you can also go for other good and top MBA colleges in India other iim's by CAT if you score well. CAT will definitely be more convenient than UPSC as you'll get a good college if you score well even if don't clear for iim. You should go according to your own potentials.
Hope this might help you.
