Hope you are doing well. Yes you can take direct admissions in engineering colleges with 64% in class 12, but only if the college accepts. Some colleges have restrictions. In order to get into some top colleges, they will mention a minimum percentage, below which they don't admit students into their colleges. The first thing you need to check is that whether the college will accept this marks. If it accepts, then there will be no obstacles. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.

Everywhere their is some specific criteria designated to every college for admission process. Your class 12th marks are decent but this is not enough to take admission in this college. You also have to appear for UPSEE or JEE exams and based on your merit rank you will get seat in this college. Hope you find it useful.
