It is advisable to choose your career based on your choice and your skills.

It totally depends on your interest whether you want to go for higher studies in your field or you want choose some different field as in SSC your B.tech will be of no use.

If you have interest in technical side you can go for B.Tech and if you are interested in doing government services you can choose SSC.

If we compare the SSC jobs with PSUs recruitment through GATE then PSUs jobs is far much better in terms of salary and Quality.

If we compare the courses in the basis of difficulty then GATE is difficult.

Rest totally depends on your interest and you preference. Don't get influenced by others choose the course wisely. So, that you can enjoy and open to learn new things.

All the Best!!
