Yes,Girls can apply for Sainik Schools.For getting an admission in Class 9, Girl has to be 13-15 years old.

For applying,the first requirements is to apply for All India Sainik School Entrance Exam(AISSEE).

Application fees for General Category and Defence Category is 400 rupees, while for SC/ST its 250 rupees.

For Admission in Class 9 onr need to score atleast 400 in this OMR based exam.
