Hello Sahil, 

It is totally up to you to choose the subject you want to pursue your major on.

Considering the subjects you have mentioned, Geography Hons and History Hons. both require to memorise facts as well as quote Geographists, Map-Makers, Historians, Archaelogists and different Authors, etc.

Geography, however is a more practical subject as a Bachelors' course, History, however is a more of a theoritical subject, the practical part of the subject only comes in when it is studied fruther in Masters, PhD or while studying Archaelogy or Museology.

At the end, it is upto you to select whatever fits you the best.
