There are a number of government law colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Among them, some top colleges are-

Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi. Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in BHU UET.
Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University Lucknow. Admission is done through CLAT.
Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Admission is done through AMU Entrance Test.
Faculty of Law University of Allahabad, Allahabad. Admission is done through their own entrance exam named Allahabad University Law Admisson test.
University of Lucknow. Admission is done through their own entrance exam.
