Greetings. Hope you're doing well. Electrical engineers basically work to design electrical equipments and test them. The advantages are once you're done with your degree in electrical engineering, you can get a various job as there is job flexibility and also, high salaries. Disadvantages include that electrical engineers need to update their knowledge regularly and also there are high risk in case of test required on an equipment

Electrical engineering is one of the most versatile branch in engineering. You can take go for core jobs like mechanical and IT jobs like CSE, IT so these are some benefits of the branch. But electrical engineering has biggest syllabus among all the branches so many candidates hesitate to choose it. But it all depends on your passion.
