Hello razin,thanks for asking this question on this platform.actualky there is no major difference between any IIT and other engineering college .the thing which makes iit's best is the environment or sorrounding of IIT colleges which really helps you in overall growth .and your perception will completely change when you will go in IIT .thanks

The name itself is a difference Razin. The way of thinking of IITians is usually differ from other engineering colleges. When you will get down in IIT'S then you will easily able to feel the difference.
