Hello,

Yes, CBSE schools follow the NCERT National Council of Educational Research and Training books and teachers prefer those books to  the students.

Therefore CBSE Books are NCERT book and almost all the CBSE Schools use these books to teach the students and these books are very beneficial to prepare for entrance exams.

All the best!

Hey Joel,

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an autonomous organisation of the Government of India. CBSE is a board which is central level governing body for education, while NCERT is just a book publishing body. CBSE board follows NCERT books.

Most of the schools and colleges under CBSE board in India follows NCERT books.

These books are important for preparation of 10th boards, 12th boards, and many entrance exams like JEE Main, NEET, etc.

Thank You.
