It is a specialized Field of study which comes under Chemical Engineering. Environmental Management covers the management of waste materials, pollution prevention activities associated with water, air, and soil, and the development and implementation of effective environmental management systems. Environmental Management offers research and opinions on the  use and conservation of natural resources, protection of h,abitats, and control of hazards, spanning the field of applied ecology without regard to traditional disciplinary boundaries

M. Tech. Energy and Environmental Engineering is an interdisciplinary program connecting the broad areas of Energy and Environment. The program aims to prepare future decision-makers in companies, government, and non-governmental organizations to analyze and act in an environmentally proactive way while making decisions about policy, production, and resource utilization.
