So I am answering on basis that your AIR is 41000, and with with your rank please infor your home state, as there is 50% reservation for home state students so you have maximum chance to get yours state NIT. But if ranking of your state NIT is high or it is a new NIT then chances is low.

And in  orther state you must try on BIT Mesra you can get chemical engineering is sport round, DTU,NSIT . And next, you can try on north easter NITs too there also cutoff are approx 50k in sport round.
