According to me, Mechanical Engineering is the evergreen part of designing. It has various courses in various Government offices, for example, ISRO, BARC, DRDO and so forth Additionally it has a very great reaction in the privately-owned businesses:-

So if you are going for the course, then you certainly have a good career ahead. Now if you are interested in IT companies then also you have good scope provided you have to learn the coding classes well in electives as well as core courses.
