Sir, without math it is possible to become scientist and botanist in plant study.

To become a scientist or botanist, Maths is required.

Most entry-level botanists need a bachelor's or master's degree in botany, plant science,biology or closely related field. Advanced research positions usually require a doctoral degree.
Botanists should also have strong analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills.

Botanist should have following skills:
. Interested in plants and research
. Strong analytical skills
. Aptitude for working with computers
. Patient
. Enjoy working outdoors
. Able to work independently and as part of a team
. Mathematical skill
. Critical Thinking
