Hello.,
Sorry to say you that you aren't eligible to give jee advanced as you don't fulfill the criteria for applying jee advanced.

But you can give state level engineering entrances.
Hope you do good in them.

No, you are not eligible for JEE advanced examination since you will in all likelihood, not clear the required cutoff for a general category student. The cut off is not likely to call below 85 percentile (to be notified by the NTA), so yes you should apply to colleges which will take you in based on your MAINS score.

Hello Yakshit. Considering your percentile is 78 in MAINS, and you belong to the general category, the chance of a government engineering college, let alone an NIT, is very difficult. You should consider applying to private colleges.
