Hello,
Don’t worry too much, this is a common issue in TCS exams.
Since your TCS Next Step profile has the correct name (Vidhya Sankar J), and only the admit card shows “Vidhya J,” you’ll likely be allowed to write the exam, as long as: Your photo and other details (DOB, reg. no., email, etc.) match, and You carry a valid government ID (like Aadhaar or PAN) showing your full name.
Still, it’s good you’ve emailed TCS support, take a printout of their reply to show proof that you raised the issue.
Tip: On exam day, inform the exam center invigilator before starting the test and show your ID and email copy. They usually note it down and allow you to proceed.
Hope you understand.
Since your TCS Next portal shows the correct full name as “Vidhya Sankar J,” and only the admit card has “Vidhya J,” it’s usually not a serious issue. Minor name discrepancies like missing middle names are often allowed if your ID proof matches most of the details, especially your photo and registration number. Just carry a valid government ID showing your full name and the email proof that you already reported the issue. You should be allowed to take the exam without any problem.
Thank you
