Hello jahnavi,

You have not mentioned about your reservation category as the seat allotment is done on the basis of reservation as well,

Considering the previous year's Cutoff ,you may get seat in a Govt college of you belong to reservation category like one SC student  to get seat last year scored 349 marks and got seat in maldah medical college,
If you specify you reservation category , I could help you with your possibility of getting seat with the help of previous year's Cutoff .

You can also refer the link below for knowing the Cutoffs of different college's of West Bengal :-

I hope the above information is useful to you,

All the best !

Hey Jahanavi !
I feel regret to inform that if you are from the UR Category, your chances of making it to any of the Govt. medical colleges is almost nil, friend.
As far as the statistics of 2018 is concerned, the last UR Student to get in through the gates of Maldah Medical College had a score of 579 corresponding to an AIR of 29,961.
And due to this year's Rank Inflation, I suppose your Rank might just be near about 75k.
At this rank, it's practically quite impossible to grab a seat friend, unless and untill you have a quota.

You can go through this link to know about the cutoffs in 2018 :

Hope this helps.

Best Wishes !
