Hello student,
You have not mentioned which category you belong to .With a rank of around 3 lakh, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the good colleges through JEE main examination. But, your percentile in class 12 is good indeed. So, if your state offers you a chance for getting admitted in colleges based on your board exams, then go for it and choose the best among them. Placements and job offers varies for different colleges. But you can get placed in good companies depending on your performance in the final year of graduation.

Yes, Thapar university is good among the private institutes which accepts JEE score. If you get Thapar, there is no doubt, you can go for it!
