Hey!

The EWS certificate is usually applicable till upto 1 year from the date of issue.

Since in August it will only be 5 months since you got the EWS certificate, hence, yes it will be applicable for the eamcet counselling for the said month. The exam form filled though should mention that you belong to the EWS category.
