It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

*number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

*kind of marks obtained by them ,

*toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.

But yes,

As per previous year trend. JEE mains 2021 expected qualifying  CUT OFF percentile to be eligible for JEE advanced  is given below for different categories  :-

From above it is clear that, last year qualifying cut off for general category was  90.3765335 percentile to be eligible for jee advanced and expected jee main 2021  cut off for general is 90-95 percentile i. e at least  around  100 marks as  per our predictor at:-

When it comes to maximum marks then you can get target even 300 out of 300 in jee main, it just like asking how much maximum marks you need to pass your board examination ,to pass board examination you need at least 33%but there is nothing like  maximum marks in order to pass, you can score even 100% in your board exam

See the qualifying cut-off percentiles which needs to be cleared by any candidate to sit in JEE-Advance is released along with the final result of JEE-Main and for JEE-Main 2021 the final result will be released after all four attempts will be completed and the final result will be on the basis of your best score amongst different attempts.

However basis on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-

• Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
• GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
• Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
• Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
• Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
• PwD - 1-2 Percentile

So if you belongs to OC or Open Category or General category then you should try to score at least 90 percentile in JEE-Main 2021 or if we talk about marks then you should at least aim for 90+ marks in JEE-Main 2021.
