1. Film and Television Institute of India, Pune

This institute offers a 3-year PG diploma coursein direction. There are only 12 seats available here and admission is based on an entrance exam conducted by the institute. Subhash Ghai, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Raj Kumar Hirani are some of the alumni.

2. Satyajit Ray Films and Television Institute, Kolkata

It offers a 3-year PG course in Cinema with specialization in Direction and Screenplay writing. It also has 12 seats available and admission is by an entrance exam, 4-day orientation course and final interview.

3. Whistling Woods International, Mumbai

It offers a 3 year Bachelors Film making program and 2-year Diploma in Film making.
