Soybeansoriginated in Southeast Asia and were first domesticated by Chinese farmers around 1100 BC. The scientific name of Soya Bean is GLYCINE MAX. It is a species of legume native to East Asia, and widely grown for its edible bean, which has numerous uses. There are three types of Soya bean- Green, Mature and Dried.
