Dear Shirish, there is no sports reservation in Maharashtra MBBS Counselling. As per Maharashtra State reservation policy, 85% State Quota sears are divided between 70% Regional and 30% State Quota Seats. Maharashtra has divided the MBBS seats into 3 regions namely Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest of Maharashtra. 70% of the 85% State Quota seats in each region are reserved for candidates of that particular region and 30% is for candidates belonging to other regions. Apart from this the reservations available in Maharashtra State MBBS Counselling in Government Medical Colleges are as follows:

SC: 13%
ST: 7%
DT-A: 3%
NT-B: 2.50%
NT-C: 3.50%
NT-D: 2%
OBC, SBC: 19%
PWD: 5%
Female Candidates: 30%

Yes there is sports quota. But it depend on the college which you are aspiring for admission. All colleges don't have sports quota.Out of 60 marks (maximum) in sports trials candidates need to secure at least 30 marks (50% marks) in order to be eligible for GU admissions 2019 under Sports quota. Besides, candidates should not be employed (part-time/ full-time) anywhere while pursuing a UG course at GU.
