In the Telangana Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams, students can choose from Telugu, Hindi or Urdu as their second language, with Urdu being a recent addition to the options.
Each paper is worth 100 marks, with 80 marks for the summative assessment (board exam) and 20 marks for formative tests.
