Dear Taran, if your question was regarding SSC JE, then here you go:

SSC JE has 2 papers. Candidates who qualify in Paper 1 are called for Paper 2 exam. And the final selection will be based on total marks scored on both the papers and posting is givem based on the merit and preferences entered during the filling of application form.
