>> Compund Microscope:

  1. It uses glass lenses.
  2. It uses a beam of light to illuminate the object .
  3. This microscope does not require internal vacuum
  4. It magnifies the object upto 2000 times.

>> Electron Microscope:

  1. It uses elcetromagnets
  2. It uses a beam of electrons to illuminate the object
  3. In this case, internal vacuumm is mandatory.
  4. Magnifies the object about 200,000 times.
