subject wise weightage for AFMC 2019 MBBS (UG)

Hello,

Here are the weightage for each subject:

  • Physics-45 questions(4 marks per question)
  • Chemistry-45 questions(4 marks per question)
  • Botany-45 questions(4 marks per question)
  • Zoology-45 questions(4 marks per question)

Also note that 1 marks would be deducted for every wrong answer.

In order to get admission in AFMC your score should be minimum 570+ as the competition is too tough for admission in  AFMC.
You should refer NCERTs first.

For Physics:

Electrodynamics - 23%
Mechanics- 13%
Heat and Thermodynamics - 5%
Optics - 5%
Modern Physics - 2-3%
Waves-SHM - 4%

For Chemistry:

Inorganic chemistry (1 and 2) - 18% each
Organic Chemistry - 15%
Physical Chemistry - 30%

For Biology:

Biological classification- 6%
Cell Biology - 8%
Genetics - 10%
Ecology- 12%
Molecular basis of inheritance- 12%
Living world- 3%
Morphology- 4%
Plant Kingdom- 12%
Plant anatomy - 6%
Reproduction in flowering plants - 10%

Animal kingdom - 8%
Animal physiology- morphology - 5%
Biomolecules - 10%
Biotechnology- 6-7%
Human health and diseases- 7%
Human Physiology- 40%
Reproductive Health - 5%
Evolution- 3%
