the main four subjects which are offered in commerce stream are- economics, accountancy, business studies and a language subject which may be English or hindi. Apart from this you also have to choose a 5th subject of your own choice according to the availability of subjects in your school. Most of the students opt for maths as it gives a lot more opportunities in the future.

The core subjects in the commerce stream are Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, and Computers. Here too, English is compulsory and you have one language subject as optional. Few of the other elective subjects are Accounting, Informatics Practices, Business Communication, Finance, Statistics, etc.
