Hello Dear ,

As you have mentioned that you are currently in 3rd year from CSE , So here i will suggest you the most important subjects that actually covers large amount of weightage in GATE exam. You can't ignore these subjects at any cost , as the exam comes near and now there is criteria that the students of 3rd year are also eligible for GATE exam. So , u have to cover Atleast or minimum 5-6 subjects . I have mentioned some topmost important subjects given below :-

-- C , Data Structure and Algorithms

--Theory of Automata and computation

-- Compiler design

-- Digital logic

-- Database and management System

-- Operating system

-- Computer Network

-- Computer Organisation and Architecture

Apart from these subjects, Be careful about Aptitude & reasoning and Mathematics too. These 2 subjects covers around 30% weightage in GATE exam which is much more sufficient to get qualified.
