As per the newly changes introduced from the year 2021, candidates who have successfully completed their 10+2+2 or 10+3+1 are eligible to apply.
Also those who are currently appearing in the 3rd year of their UG degree/ higher years of study or graduated in any Govt. approved degree course in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Arts/ Commerce are eligible to apply for Gate exam 2022.
That means you are eligible to take the exam next year.
