MHCET or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the DTE(Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra for admissions to first year Engineering and Technology programmes(BE/BTech) and Pharmacy programmes(BPharma/PharmaD) in the state.

Here is the syllabus for mhcet

from 2018, the questions will be based on the syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Secondary Education. According to the official website, 20% of the weightage will be given to Class XI curriculum and 80% of the weightage will be given to Class XII curriculum.

There would be no negative marking but the exam would be at par with JEE Main 2018 for PCM. The difficulty level of Biology will be at par with NEET(UG). The questions will typically be application based.

According, to the change in this year 11th class will hold 20% weightage and 12th class will hold 80% weightage.
