GATE is graduate aptitude test in engineering is a national level exam in india conducted by IITs and IISC  for admissions to the various pg courses in different engineering colleges across the country. The score is also valid for Jobs at PSUs across the country and to get admissions in management course of NITIE MUMBAI. Any candidate in final year or have completed graduation can apper for the exam.

The basic criteria is that the candidate must have passed graduation in engineering or technology or Masters degree in any relevant science subject. There is no age barrier to be eligible for Gate exam. There is not any minimum percentage is specified for appearing in GATE examination. The course criteria is different for different program.
