Mendel gave 3 laws-

1) law of segregation-it states that during the formation of reproductive cells,pairs of hereditary factors for a specific trait seperate so that offspring recieve one factor from each parent.

2) law of independent assortment-it states that chance determines which factor for a particular trait is inherited.

3) law of dominance-it states that one of the factor for a pair of inherited traits will be dominant and the other recessive,unless both factors are recessive.
