Computer Engineering is one of the most demanding course nowadays and have lot of opportunities . For placement you should know it depends on two factor mainly

1. Institute
2. Student Calibre

If you have got a good Institute your placement can be good if you work hard and if you don't work your placement can't be good . Some are able to grab package of 1-2 crore and some even not get placement .

If you have not got good Institute most probably big companies don't visit your Institute so you don't have chance to get placed in those companies through campus placement . But good students from tier - 3 cateogry college also got good placement through off campus placement .

So, it depends on both Institute as well as Student Caliber but most important factor is Student Caliber .

If you are talking about JEE mains percentile,Your All India Rank would be approximately 191182 ,Calculated by using the formula 100-78*869010/100 where 78 is your percentile and 869010 is the number of students appeared for jee mains in january session.As per the previous year scenario,with this rank,you cannot get seat in NIT's ,but you can get in some other colleges.You may have to appear for july session.For checking the probabilities of colleges,you can use our college predictor.The link is provided below:
