Hi,

The IPU CET test for B.Tech in Biotechnology consists of the following subjects (upto 12th standard level except Mathematics which is 10th standard level):

1. Physics (20%)
2. Chemistry (20%)
3. Mathematics (20%)
4. Biology (Botany and Zoology) (40%)
or,
5. Biotechnology (40%)

Also do remember, the exam duration for B.Tech (Biotech) is 2.5 hours unlike 3 hours in B.Tech.

The admission into Btech will be based on IPU CET but for Biotechnology JEE Main marks will be considered.

{IPU-CET} for BTech coursewill consist of three sections Physics , chemistry & mathematics

Eachof these subjects will contains50question, that means total no. Of question in BTECH IPU-CET will be150.

Marking scheme:

+4 for every correct Answer

-1 for every wrong answer

Time allotted : 2.5 hrs

Level of the examination:

5 to 10 question in each of PCM will be of approximately JEE level .

Rest of the questions will be like as per IPU-CET previous years.
