Hello Safina,

Meanwhile, till the correction window is open, if your certificate is ready then you can upload it and make the necessary changes. But, if your certificate is not ready, then you have to apply for general category as you have selected earlier. During counselling, you will be put in general category for the further process.

If you upload your EWS certificate during correction window period, then you do not have to appear as a general category. You need to carry your EWS certificate during counselling.

Sir I want to change to EWS Category but I am not sure whether my certificate will be ready before counselling. So If I opted EWS then in counseling can I bego with general category?

Safina zehra If you opt for EWS category, you have to upload the EWS certificate compulsorily and you cannot change category to general during counselling in that case. If you do not opt for EWS then only you can go for counselling in general category and not EWS.
