Solution : Given that the cost of 3 kg of rice is INR 180. The cost of 8 kg of rice is equal to that of 5 kg of pulse. The cost of 15 kg of pulses is equal to that of 2 kg of tea. The cost of 3 kg of tea is equal to that of 6 kg of walnuts. The cost of 1 kg rice = $\frac{180}{3}=60$ The cost of 5 kg pulse = cost of 8 kg of rice = 480 The cost of 2 kg tea = The cost of 15 kg pulse = 480 × 3 = 1440 The cost of 6 kg walnuts = The cost of 3 kg tea = $\frac{1440\times3}{2}=2160$ The cost of 10 kg walnuts = $\frac{2160\times 10}{6}=3600$ Hence, the correct answer is 3600.
