Hello,

we know that the differentiation of speed with respect to time will give you velocity

V=Dx/Dt

Differentiate the given equation with respect to time you get

V=-(8/5)t+16

We need to find the time when the velocity of body becomes 0

put V=0

0=-(8/5)t+16

16=(8/5)t

t=(5/8)*16

t=5*2

t=10sec
