The government has recently cancelled the 75% in board exam criterion to enter IITs. Is this applicable for NITs also? please help

Hello,

The eligibility criteria is scrapped for admission in IITs for the academic 2020-21. Candidates who qualify in JEE Advanced will be given admission based on merit and candidate with any score in class 12 examination will get seat if they qualify in JEE Advanced and pass in the qualifying exam. But the eligibility criteria to get admission in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs remains same. Candidate must score 75% and for 65% for SC/ST categories to get admission in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs.
