IGRUA is becoming a knowledge and skill development hub of civil aviation. Akademi is headed by a Director who is assisted by Departmental heads of Operations, Services, Finance and HR. The Pilot training to candidates of Indian Airlines, BSF, Coast Guard candidates, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy is also provided by IGRUA as and when required.

Emphasis at IGRUA is not only on flying but also to mould you as a true professional with high values. After joining there, During Orientation week, The cadet visits the Flight Operations Center (FOC), and familiarizes with all the aspects of aircraft operations like runway, hangars, ATC, navigation aids etc.
