If you’ve completed both your 10th and 12th from Maharashtra, you’re generally eligible under the Maharashtra domicile criteria. However, at the time of NEET UG counselling registration, uploading your own domicile certificate is officially required. Submitting your father's domicile in place of yours is not allowed. But here’s what you can do if your domicile is in process, many state portals allow a declaration or proof of application submission along with a letter explaining the situation. Check with the Maharashtra CET Cell helpline or your school principal for a supporting letter. Also, continue trying to get your domicile issued quickly, even if it’s a temporary one, before the final document verification.
