EconomicallY Weaker Section category status cannot be compared with SC OR ST category.

EWS has got only 10% quota and the competetion would be very high in the given category but whereas SC OR ST it wouldnt be that much.

also ews is based on income it definitely cant be compared to sc or st category.

ranks and cutoffs for ews would be slightly less than general category but definitely not as low as sc or st.
