Correct Answer: 100


Solution : Radius = $r$ = $8\frac{3}{4}$
Distance covered in 1 revolution = Circumference of wheel
Distance covered in 1 revolution = $2\pi r $
= $2 × \frac{22}{7} × \frac{35}{4} = 55$ cm
Required number of revolutions to cover 55 m = $\frac{55×100}{55}$
= 100
Hence, the correct answer is 100.
